HydroLine® 10 micron inline filter capsule: 600cm²

The HydroLine® Disposable Groundwater Filter Capsule is designed specifically for field filtering groundwater samples for metal analysis with 1/8" NPT threaded inlet and outlets with stepped hose adapter on the inlet side for in line filtering of pumped samples with up to 3/8" ID tubing.

When requested (FREE OF CHARGE) stepped barb adapters can be threaded on each end for use of up to 1/2" tubing.

Features a true membrane element, certification for 67 metals and 2 anions, filtering capacity of 1 liter for most turbid samples and 1/8" NPT treaded ends with stepped hose adapter on inlet side.

A micron rating for a wastewater/groundwater disposable filter relates to its pore size and is a generalized way to indicate the ability of the filter’s capacity to capture particles. Cm² media pertains to the actual size of the filter media which directly correlates to the effectiveness of the media’s ability to filter sediment. The lower the turbidity in the liquid, the lower the cm² needed. Conversely, the higher the turbidity in the liquid, the higher the cm² media needed.

 

Each HydroLine®  filter capsule is individually sealed with a heavy-duty 4mil bag to

prevent ripping and tearing in transit or rugged field conditions.

The 600cm2 Hydroline® micron filter can be used in many ways:

1. Pump direct into filter: Filter could be used in line with any water pump with correct pressure.

2. Gravity feed from bailer directly into filter: Filter could be used as a gravity feed filter for use with disposable bailers (F.E.D (Filter emptying device). This device is optional

3. Pressurized bailer directly into filter:  Filter Could be used with pressurized bailer system.

4. Pressurized transfer vessel directly into filter: Filter Could be used with pressurized transfer vessel system with hand pump.
