Configure the Abyss Solar Charger #1 the Way You Want It!

Abyss Solar Charger #1 provides flexible product features. If you appreciate options (the good news all options are included with the product), you will be pleased to know you can select from any or all of the Abyss Solar Charger #1 features!

Option #1: LD Sensor Detection and Dry Run Detection Feature

The LD sensor detects (conductive) liquid*. The pump will run as long as the LD sensor is suspended in liquid. When liquid draws down below the LD sensor, the dry run sensor transmits a signal to the Abyss Solar Charger #1 to shut-off the pump. As liquid level rises again covering the LD sensor, the LD sensor takes over and transmits a signal to the Abyss Solar Charger #1 to turn-on the pump. This pumping cycle continues automatically.

 

Option #2: Tank Float Switch Feature

This feature prevents tank over-fill and provides control over the desired total volume of liquid that enters the tank. The tank float switch transmits a signal to the Abyss Solar Charger #1 to shut-off the pump when it detects the full or desired set point (assigned during tank float switch deployment). The pump remains off until the tank reservoir drops to tank float switch set point, triggering the tank float switch to transmit a signal to the Abyss Solar Charger #1 to turn-on the pump again. This pumping cycle continues automatically.

 

Option #3: Multiple Settings Timer Feature

The Abyss Solar Charger #1 timer provides up to 19 pumping cycles within a 24 hour period, delivering total autonomous pump run times and control over pump run time duration. This pumping cycle continues automatically.

 

Option #4: Abyss Booster Feature

The Abyss Booster Feature automatically doubles the pump flow rate which is especially helpful when purging medium to higher yielding wells, vaults, and in surface water applications. The Abyss Booster incorporates Constant Voltage Boosting Technology (CVBT) providing the correct voltage to reach the pump motor for consistent flow rate.

  • The internal Booster doubles the purge rate for the Abyss® or Abyss® Slimline pumps

  • Constant Voltage Boosting Technology (CVBT) is incorporated into all Proactive® power boosters providing the correct voltage to reach the pump motor for consistent flow rate

  • Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD) is incorporated into all Proactive® power boosters. LVD protects the battery from going into critical level discharge 

  • The booster recognizes the same pump flow rate recognition through each autonomous pumping cycle
